About Us

The Patriot Flight was founded in 2016 under the leadership of past Roswell Rotary President Jeff McCoy and Senator John Albers.   Modeled after the successful Honor Air Program under the leadership of Gene Beckham, the Patriot Flight is to recognize and thank our first responders (Fire, Police, 911 & EMS).

The first annual Roswell Rotary Patriot Flight brought our First Responders to visit the 9/11 memorial in New York City.  The flight is occurred on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Thank you to all who helped along the way.

The next flight occurred on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 and the 3rd flight is scheduled for May 5, 2020.  We need people again to meet at the corner of Woodstock Rd/Canton St. to cheer and give a heroes departure at 5:30 am. When they return we need another large crowd to welcome them home at Roswell Area Park at 11:25 pm. You will LOVE this opportunity to demonstrate the support of a grateful community.
